How to change the light bulb on the Citroen Sm display
Depending on the years of production, the method may vary a little. Several covers or screws may not be identical. So that's the general approach.
- Start with remove the covers of the front panel which obstruct access to the display. You can use a flat screwdriver to pry in the grooves. You may need to remove more than one screw. In this case, keep them preciously aside.
- Once the facade has been completely removed, it will disconnect connectors connected to the Citroen Sm clock bulb. You can therefore dismantle all of the block's connectors, provided you remember the location. Help yourself by taking photos if it can be useful to you.
- Normally you can have access to the broken bulb. Gently dismantle the bulb of the clock.
- Compare the new bulb with the old one. The latter should be similar in terms of base and volume. The voltage as well obviously.
- Put in the new bulb by checking that it is located at the bottom of its socket.
- Put the connectors in place.
- Put all the covers on the front.
