How to change the bulb on the Hyundai Xg display

Depending on the years of production, the method may vary a little. It remains possible that some covers or screws are not identical. So that's the general approach to follow.

  • Start by remove the covers of the front panel which prevent access to the display. You can use a flat screwdriver to pry in the grooves. You may need to remove more than one screw. In this case, keep them preciously aside.
  • Once the facade has been completely removed, you must disconnect connectors which connect to the clock bulb of this Hyundai Xg. You can therefore remove all the connectors from the block, provided you remember the location. Help yourself with your camera if it helps you.
  • You can normally access the broken bulb. Carefully disassemble the bulb of the clock.
  • Compare the new bulb with the previous one. This should be similar in terms of base and volume. The tension also of course.
