How to change the bulb on the Renault Clio Williams display

Depending on the year of discharge, the procedure may vary slightly. It is possible that some covers or screws are not identical. Here is therefore the logic to be followed in general.

  • Start by remove the covers of the front panel which prevent access to the display. You can use a flat screwdriver to pry in the grooves. You may need to remove more than one screw. In this case, keep them preciously aside.
  • Once the facade has been completely removed, disconnect connectors which connect to the clock bulb of the Renault Clio Williams. You can therefore remove all of the connectors from the block, provided you remember the location. Help yourself by taking photos if it can be useful to you.
  • You can normally access the damaged bulb. Carefully disassemble the bulb of the clock.
  • Compare the new bulb with the previous one. The latter should be similar in terms of base and volume. The tension too of course.
  • Place the new bulb by checking that it is at the bottom of its location.
  • Replace the connectors as they were.
  • Replace all of the front covers.
