How to change the bulb on the Seat Altea Freetrack display

Depending on the years of production, the methodology may vary slightly. It is still possible that several covers or screws differ. Here is the general procedure to follow.

  • Start with remove the covers of the front panel which prevent access to the display. You can use a flat screwdriver to pry in the grooves. You may need to remove a few screws. In this situation, keep them preciously aside.
  • Once the facade is completely removed, you need disconnect connectors which connect to the clock bulb of the Seat Altea Freetrack. You can therefore remove all the connectors from the block, provided you remember the location. Help yourself with your camera if needed.
