Clutch and steering are the two mechanical systems that the driver controls. One, however, is used to damaging faster than the other: it is the clutch device of course. Obviously with the gearbox, which is closely linked. Relatively frequently, gearshift problems occur on this + str (XXX) +. And even if the clutch is frequently involved, sometimes we are surprised at the source of the problems. Also, this sometimes avoids having to change the entire kit. Here are consequently the gear change issues the most common.
+ str (XXX) +: Impossible to pass one of the speeds
It often happens that one of the gears no longer shifts. Or just even or odd speeds. In this case, the clutch is in poor condition. However, this is not inevitably linked to the whole of the clutch kit or gearbox of your + str (XXX) +. It may be that the marigold originated from a link or from a rubber which holds it. The problem can also come from the gearbox. You can drop it to check that nothing foreign is blocking it. If it is damaged, it must be changed.
Unable to shift gear once the + str (XXX) + engine is running
Unfortunately, this is a fairly common concern. Since the engine block is off it is possible to shift your gears, this implies that the gearbox of the + str (XXX) + is operational. Once the engine block has started, it is impossible. The concern comes from the clutch. Usually it will be necessary to change the entire clutch kit. You can always dismantle it and check the condition of all the parts. As a reminder, it is recommended to change the clutch every 150 km.
+ str (XXX) +: no speed passes
If none of the gears pass, the engine stopped as lit, it's really unpleasant. The first thing to check is the condition of the gearbox of your + str (XXX) +. Chances are that it will be HS. In order to discern where the concern comes from, it's quite easy. If you can push the lever into the guide of one of the speeds, but the speed does not take, it is the clutch which undoubtedly presents a concern. If the lever seems blocked and you cannot push it, the problem certainly comes from the gearbox. For both, it is very likely to change one or more parts.
