Clutch and steering are two mechanical systems that the motorist controls. One, however, tends to deteriorate faster than the other: it is the clutch device of course. With of course the gearbox, which is closely linked. It happens relatively regularly that gearshift concerns occur on the + str (XXX) +. And even if the clutch is frequently involved, it sometimes happens that we have surprises about the reason for the concerns. In addition, it sometimes avoids replacing the complete kit. So these are the gearshift concerns The most common.
+ str (XXX) +: Impossible to pass one of the speeds
Sometimes one of the gears no longer shifts. Or only even or odd speeds. As a result, the clutch is damaged. However, this is not inevitably linked to the whole of the clutch kit or gearbox of your + str (XXX) +. It is possible that the marigold comes from a link or from a rubber that holds it. The problem may still come from the gearbox. It can be placed in order to check that no foreign element is blocking it. If the latter is damaged, it will have to be changed.
Unable to shift gear once the + str (XXX) + engine is running
Unfortunately, this is a fairly common concern. Since the engine block is off it is possible to shift your gears, this means that the gearbox of your + str (XXX) + is in good condition. Once the engine block is on, it is impossible. The concern comes from the clutch. Usually it will be essential to change the complete clutch kit. You can always dismantle it and check the condition of each of the components. As a reminder, it is recommended to change the clutch every 150 km.
+ str (XXX) +: no speed passes
If none of the gears pass, the engine off as on, it's really annoying. The first thing to check is the state of the gearbox of your + str (XXX) +. There is a good chance that the latter is HS. To discern where the concern comes from, it's pretty easy. If you can put the lever in the guide of one of the gears, but it does not take, it is the clutch that probably presents a problem. If the lever seems to be stuck and you cannot push it, the problem certainly comes from the gearbox. In both cases, you will most likely have to change one or more parts.
