The clutch and the steering are two mechanical devices that the motorist controls. One nevertheless tends to wear out faster than the other: it is the clutch mechanism of course. Of course with the gearbox, in close connection. Quite frequently, gearshift problems occur on the + str (XXX) +. And even if the clutch is regularly involved, it sometimes happens that we are surprised at the reason for the problems. Also, it sometimes avoids having to change the complete kit. So these are the gear change issues the most common.
+ str (XXX) +: Impossible to pass one of the speeds
Sometimes one of the gears no longer shifts. Or just even or odd speeds. In this situation, the clutch is worn. But that is not inevitably linked to the entire clutch kit or gearbox of your + str (XXX) +. It may be that the problem comes from a link or a rubber that holds it. The problem may still come from the gearbox. It is possible to dismantle it in order to check that no foreign element is blocking it. If it is damaged, it must be replaced.
Unable to change gear once the + str (XXX) + engine is started
Unfortunately, this is a rather recurring concern. Since the engine is off it is possible to shift your gears, this means that the gearbox of the + str (XXX) + is in good condition. Once the engine is running, it is impossible. The problem stems from the clutch. Usually it will be necessary to change the complete clutch kit. You can always remove it and check the condition of each part. For information, it is recommended to change the clutch every 150 km.
+ str (XXX) +: no speed passes
If none of the gears pass, the engine stopped as lit, it's really annoying. The first thing to check is the wear and tear on the gearbox of your + str (XXX) +. There is a high probability that the latter will be out of service. To understand where the problem comes from, it's relatively simple. If you can put the lever in the guide of a speed, but that one does not engage, it is the clutch which probably holds a concern. If the lever seems to be blocked and you cannot push it, the problem probably comes from the gearbox. In both cases, it is most certainly necessary to change one or more parts.
